The Gael and the Gaul

Here's something I did for fun a little while ago and in case there's any confusion - This is a work of fan fiction using characters from the world of Asterix created by Albert Uderzo and Rene Goscinny (with the obvious exception of the less successful 'Taleandahalf'!). The characters in 'The Gael and the Gaul' are created and owned by Albert Uderzo and Rene Goscinny and I do not claim any ownership over them or the world of Asterix. The aforementioned story is one of my own invention (not including panels 01, 02 and 33, which are repurposed panels from 'Asterix and the Great Crossing') and is not purported or believed to be part of the Uderzo/Goscinny/Ferri story canon. The story is for entertainment only and not part of the official storyline. Made as merely a fun exercise by a huge admirer of the work of Uderzo/Goscinny, I have not and do not intend to profit financially from the creation and publication of 'The Gael and the Gaul'. I'd like thank Albert Uderzo and Rene Goscinny for giving the world Asterix and for pushing me into the career which I enjoy today. For good measure, I better also state that (in reference to panels 31 and 32) i didn't have any hand in the writing of 'Waiting for Godot'!

So awesome Paul! I honestly can't tell the art apart..you weren't kidding when you said you could've taken over doing the art for Asterix :D I'm not really on tumblr, but I'll keep a bookmark handy to peek at your work!
